Programme Director
Dr. Eleni Apostolidou, is a Full-time Associate Professor at CIIM, in Cyprus and Program Director of MSc in Financial Law & International Taxation. In the past, she was an assistant in Research at the University of Strasbourg, Rennes, Nanterre, and Cergy, where the core of her teaching focused on European and International Taxation. She served as an external consultant at the OECD Tax department and was appointed as Cyprus correspondent at IBFD, Netherlands. She has participated on an individual basis in research consortia in Austria and Italy.
Eleni is an expert in the area of avoidance rules in tax matters. In the past she was an assistant professor at the University of Strasbourg, Rennes, Nanterre and Cergy Pontoise, where the core of her teaching focused on European and International Taxation. She has gained significant experience dealing with financial transactions in sophisticated structures as a tax expert for the Public advisory and consultancy department of Pwc, Cyprus. She has lectured in courses and been author of publications on various issues, that cover public finance and federal institutions, fiscal policy and strategy. She is a member of the Bar Association, a Certified Mediator and an Expert on Legal and Economic Development for various think tanks in Cyprus.
