The Economics and Finance School of the University of Limassol has inherited two postgraduate programmes from CIIM, the MSc in Financial Services and the MSc in Financial Law and International Taxation. The first has been closely following the emerging developments in finance and technology, most recently financial technologies (FinTech) and sustainable finance and the second, a more recent offering, has been a response to the new developments in financial law and international taxation.

While managerial economics is being taught in most business school programmes, as a discipline on its own it was not offered by CIIM, as a separate programme. The Economics and Finance School of the University of Limassol will do so starting with a BSc in Economics under its single Department of Economics and Finance. Masters and Doctoral programmes are a natural development in this school. Towards this end the School has recruited both senior and junior economists with strong research skills and ambitious research agenda who, in addition to teaching excellence, are joining in pursuing external funding for research.
