The Role:

The Marketing & Recruitment Manager (RMM) will be responsible for the development and implementation of the School’s marketing strategy (both academic and executive education) as well as the student recruitment strategy. Manages the gathering, analysis and use of data to inform School strategy and contribute to decision-making concerning the school’s recruitment plan, marketing and branding. Promotes and raises awareness of the CIIM programmes with key internal and external interest groups by organising on-campus events and representing the institution off-campus.

Major Duties:

Marketing

  • Take a lead role in developing and implementing the institution’s overall marketing and student recruitment strategy including the use of web, e-marketing and new media
  • Systematically gather, analyse, and present market and competitor intelligence and conduct market research, on both degree programs and executive education
  • Working with data management systems such as CRM and other systems maintain and analyse data relating to recruitment patterns to inform and prioritise actions for student recruitment
  • Manage the development and testing of promotional material for publication via print, web, new media by liaising with programme directors and the senior management
  • Play an active role in the day-to-day management of Social Media for student recruitment purposes (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and digital channels including website to enhance the user experience
  • Working with colleagues to identify and select through recruitment and interview a pool of student ambassadors, mentors and advocates to work on outreach activities
  • Write content and coordinate the production of publications, promotions, market research, events and PR activity.
  • Develop a network of relevant marketing contacts and build relationships with publications, industry journalists, bloggers or public speakers

Recruitment

  • Develop the School’s management information on student recruitment and produce reports for the Executive Director and School Director and Dean to inform the development of the School recruitment policy and to target new recruitment potentials.
  • Oversee and ensure the attainment of student recruitment targets at both the school and programme levels
  • Use a CRM or other automated marketing solution to organise, nurture and engage with leads (received through the website, form downloads, phone and social media) helping the team know exactly where prospects are in the lifecycle and what their preferences are
  • Enhance existing and develop new relationships with organisations and businesses where appropriate applicants for CIIM programmes are to be found
  • Develop and organise a range of school-level on-campus recruitment events and targeted on-campus recruitment activities including subject-specific taster days and conferences throughout the year
  • Represent and present the School and its programmes at appropriate off-campus events
  • Supervise and support the management and development of the Student Recruitment & Admissions Officers

Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing or other marketing-related field
  • Bilingual and effective communicator in both Greek and English
  • A minimum of 5 years marketing experience
  • Expertise and experience in content creation; superior writing skills in both Greek and English
  • Experience in student recruitment and/or sales, especially for higher-learning education programs, will be an advantage
  • Ability to use data to understand the behaviour of customers and predict their buying preferences and habits and use this information to the School’s advantage
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret website analytics and marketing data to gauge the success of a campaign, and estimate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities
  • Experience of report writing in order to produce concise and coherent reports that will inform management decision-making
  • Experience in website management, email marketing, paid search management, optimised pay-per-click campaigns
  • Experience in event planning and public relations
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office packages

Working conditions

  • Extensive local travel and, occasionally, international travel
  • Regular interaction (phone/email/in-person) with prospects, clients, agents, HR managers, executives
  • Flexible work schedule, with occasional evening and weekend hours, in order to accommodate emerging opportunities and needs during off-hours in support of the Open Events and other
    promotional activities.
  • During the period 20 August-31 October it will not normally be possible to take leave
  • Shared work space

Compensation

  • Competitive salary plus commission

The Role

The Student Recruitment Officer (SRO) will promote degree programs and recruit qualified students to CIIM through direct contact and personal visits. The SRO will be responsible for organising recruitment events across Cyprus, and for delivering high quality activities and presentations to attract students to CIIM. The SRO will also work with the programme directors and the admissions officers to raise the conversion rate at the programme level

Main duties:

  • Responsible for student recruitment for the MBA and MSc programmes through visits, direct selling and follow-up on leads to achieve admission targets
  • Organize and run on and off-campus recruitment events throughout Cyprus, such as Open Days, Teacher Conferences, Campus Tours and Applicant Visit Days as well as online recruitment and conversion activity such as Web Chats and Virtual Open Days
  • Follow up with prospective students through meet-ups, phone calls, messages and emails promptly
  • Give accurate information, advice and guidance to prospective students about programmes, courses, student life at CIIM and student finance
  • Organize and hold workshops and seminars that showcase the CIIM, its faculty, and its programmes and deliver high quality presentations about the CIIM and its programmes both on and off campus
  • Liaise and network with HR managers of companies and organizations and with careers professionals to develop effective relationships to meet recruitment targets
  • Any other duties appropriate to the role as may be assigned from time to time by the Marketing and Recruitment Manager and the School Senior Management

Recruitment Officer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or other relevant degree
  • Proficient in Greek and English
  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales is required; experience in student recruitment would be considered an asset but not required.
  • Good verbal communication skills. Able to: speak confidently to a variety of audiences; engage with prospective students, most of whom are working professionals; convey information in a clear and entertaining style
  • Experience in developing and delivering events and organising group activities for a variety of audiences
  • Experience of developing innovative solutions that meet or exceed targets
  • Self-motivated to work independently without close supervision, using own initiative to resolve problems
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a ‘can do’ approach to work and a strong sense of commitment
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office packages
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
