The Technology and Innovation School of the University of Limassol has inherited CIIM’s pioneer MSc programme in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, BIDA as affectionately known by its students and faculty. While barely 10 years old this innovative digital technology programme has trained the first cadre of data scientists in Cyprus with the latest machine learning, big data, data analytics and visualization techniques widely applied in business and government today.
A second postgraduate programme is introduced, the MSc in Computer Science and Business Technology, focusing on emerging information technologies with growing application to business such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, neural networks and internet of things. Under the University of Limassol, the Technology and Information School is offering under its Department of Information Technology a BSc in Computing and Business Technology. A PhD in Data Science is also being planned to be offered in the near future.
