In recent years, this fact was importantly realised and precisely for this reason, the importance of programming has become a subject of increasing international awareness, moving from the narrow domain of computer scientists to the broader world, including the secondary education space (Gymnasium & Lyceum).
CIIM has designed and offers a unique summer school programming experience for students without prior programming experience. The programming language taught is Python, considered among the top programming languages by many sources, like the world-renowned IEEE Spectrum magazine. Python is also the language of choice for introductory computer courses at MIT.
Python is a simple yet powerful language that is easy for beginners to start with. It has a powerful set of libraries that can be used to solve a wide variety of problems in the fields of computer vision, data exploration, data analytics and many others.
The duration of the summer school is 5 days, during which the students will learn how to tackle problems from diverse areas through practical and fun examples!
