CIIM, a Cyprus-based, international Graduate Business School since 1990 is in the process of becoming a full-fledged university, expected by mid-2023. The prospective university is placing equal emphasis on excellence in research and teaching. In light of this prospect, CIIM is recruiting key faculty in tenured and tenure-track positions in a number of disciplines, for the university’s planned initial three schools: The Business School, the Technology & Innovation School and the Law & Social Science School.

The prospective university will be offering in addition to the existing postgraduate programmes, undergraduate programmes in Economics, Business, Computing, and Law as well as Doctoral programmes in Management, Business Administration, Data Science and Social Sciences. The recruited new faculty will play a key role in the University’s strategic planning and expansion into new disciplines and schools.

Job Description
The appointments are for permanent full-time, tenure-track or tenured positions. They offer a research budget, competitive teaching loads, and a university environment that fosters multidisciplinary collaboration and research productivity. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in doctoral supervision as well as offer electives in the areas of the candidate’s research interests.

Requirements
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. from an accredited University with specialization in the field of their application. Excellent English language and communication skills are essential. We especially seek candidates with an international academic background to further enrich faculty diversity and international profile.

Applicants for junior positions must demonstrate a clear potential and commitment to scholarly research as evidenced by a minimum of three publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed international academic journals as well as evidence of teaching excellence. For newly-hired research-oriented lecturers and assistant professors, with a highly promising and ambitious research agenda and solid funding prospects we offer reduced teaching load and reduced administrative duties.

Applicants for senior positions must have a solid record of scholarly research publications in high-ranked international peer-reviewed journals as well as a strong ongoing research agenda. Evidence of teaching excellence, and course and curriculum development is also required.
The successful applicant will be expected to publish scholarly research in high quality academic journals, demonstrate superior teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are also expected to attract external research funding.
