CIIM’s Interreg: I3 Entrepreneurial Training in Sofia Bulgaria

Friday 7th December 2018, marked the end of the first successful workshop for CIIM’s Interreg: i3 project “i3 – Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship”.

The first of a total of five trainings took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, organised by our project Lead Partner, The Bulgaria Economic Forum. 10 trainees from each of the project partner’s countries joined specialised entrepreneurial training, geared towards a different theme in each country. The project aims to promote territorial development and cooperation by the establishment of a model for entrepreneurial training and transfer of knowledge for young entrepreneurs.

After arriving in snowy Sofia, Bulgaria, the teams from the different countries were treated to a dinner at their hotel, where they had a chance to introduce themselves and meet the project partners. For the next three days, the trainees would undergo specific training including; Business-model-creation, value proposition, budgeting and planning, state of the “Lifestyle” sector, applying innovative approaches and tools to “Lifestyle” themed business ideas, that were created by the teams from the different countries. The trainees were free to explore the beautiful city of Sofia, after the conclusion of each training day.

Besides the valuable tailored knowledge gained through the workshop, the trainees also met a vast network of like-minded individuals and entrepreneurs, as well as experiencing a new cultural involvement in a new country. CIIM- Cyprus International Institute of Management always strives to build bridges and opportunities for our graduates and the whole Cypriot community, which was the reason we ventured in joining the project, and will be looking forward to witnessing the finale of these efforts through the success of all the participants.
