Digital Marketing can be a confusing place. There’s plenty of jargon and buzzwords. We’re currently hearing a lot about Big Data, Google Mobile-First Index and the latest advertising opportunities on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. Even if we can get to grips with all this, we are promised we’ll soon be dealing with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). It’s easy to be overwhelmed!

In this fast-paced session, CIIM external lecturer Mike Berry says “Don’t Panic!”. Mike will take us through today’s key digital marketing trends, focusing on the changes which will most impact marketing globally over the coming months and years. Mike will explain how businesses can gain a real competitive edge in this dynamic marketing landscape. Crucially, he reminds us that the fundamentals of Marketing are unchanged in the Digital Age: it’s still about communicating the benefits of our brand to the identified target audience: ConsistentlyCreatively and Profitably.
