The 4th annual CIIM internationalisation study field trip to Athens – Greece, with emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation, organised by the CIIM Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre, ENTICE will take place between Wednesday the 19th at 14.00 and the and Friday the 21st of April 2017 at 17.00.

The study field trip programme includes visits to institutional organisations promoting the creation of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, accelerator and co-working spaces, innovation and entrepreneurship funding bodies and successful start-up and spin off companies. Please find the programme attached for your information.

Students are free to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements paying the amount of €70 to CIIM to cover for the organisational costs. This amount can be paid directly to the CIIM accounts office or by transfer of money (as per the normal payment procedure) with the receipt faxed or scanned and sent to the CIIM Accounts office.

The participation of students in at least one study field trip abroad during their CIIM studies is highly recommended. Participation in this study trip earns 3 ECTS out of the students’ elective requirements and in the case of the MBA students it may replace their International Business core course. Please refer to the Participants’ handbook (August 2016), section 4.3 Exchange programmes and educational field trips, page 21, for the minimum criteria for participation in the CIIM Educational field trips.

Places are limited and will not be reserved until the payment is received. Deadline for registrations is the 10th of April 2017 or before if all places are filled.

The tentative programme of visits (some visits still to be confirmed and if not possible alternatives will be sought), the application form and a list of hotels around Syntagma square, the starting point of our daily programme, are attached. Public transport will be used with the exception of Friday, the 21st of April 2017 were a mini bus will be hired.
