The Lawyers Leadership and Management Programme (LLMP) is a management training programme specifically designed for lawyers and senior staff in law firms with team leadership and management responsibility.
In today’s changing business world law firms are facing key management and business development issues. Lawyers must now be able to think strategically and laterally if they are to move forward and achieve success for their firms in an increasingly competitive and demanding environment.

Learning process
The approach to learning is highly interactive with a blend of best practices, principles and skills that can be taken back to the job and immediately applied. Decision-making exercises, case studies, role play and other action-based learning activities are also used to help participants discover more about their own management, teamwork and leadership style. The trainers bring real world business experience and keep content fresh and current with managerial techniques that respond to today’s work environment.
Timing and duration
The LLMP modules are taught in one-day, seven-hour sessions and the modules are held at the CIIM facilities in Nicosia.

Peter Warner
Peter Warner MBA, MIMC is a solicitor admitted to practice in 1985 with a wealth of consultancy, training and management experience. He joined a major law network in 1992 where he was responsible for the planning, co-ordination and implementation of business reviews and consultancy projects for practices ranging in size from four to sixty five partners. His recent work includes various quality and performance improvement initiatives such as Investors in People. ISO 9000, Lexcel, Legal Aid Franchising, Barmark, Risk Management, Practice Excellence, Business Planning, Marketing Strategy and Change Management.
Fiona Stuart-Wilson
Fiona Stuart-Wilson is a management consultant, author and trainer and has worked with a range of professional practices both in the public and private sectors over the last 20 years. Fiona is the director of UMD Professional and developed the "Hands-on Management Programme". Fiona led her Company to the achievement of a National Training Award in recognition of the profession-specific management courses provided. Fiona specializes in strategic management and people development, and is the author of many articles on business management and a book on marketing in professional practices.
Fees
The LLMP fees are €1,200.
Individual modules may be attended, should there be availability, and will be charged at €300 per module before.
No VAT is charged due to CIIM’s VAT exemption status.
Fees include tuition materials, refreshments and executive lunches.
The balance of the fees is payable upon enrolment.
For cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the course the cancellation fee is €350 for the whole programme or €100 per module.
