Third-party scholarship schemes

Third-party scholarship schemes may be available from foundations such as IKY or from other institutions in the public or private sectors such as the Banks for students in accredited programmes. The CIIM BBA, like all CIIM programmes, is accredited.

Financial Aid

Assistantship for up to 25% of the programme’s tuition fees for services provided to CIIM such as research assistance, teaching, library, administration, marketing, etc.All students with assistantships are given assignments either at CIIM, or elsewhere such as social work as part of CIIM’s CSR. Part or all the assistantship may be replaced by employment obtained by the student through his/her own efforts, or CIIM’s or a combination.

for the unpaid balance of the student tuition fees (up to 50% of the programme’s total tuition fees) by applying for it and signing the required loan papers that commit the student to an affordable monthly payment upon graduation and employment. Students must have a co-signer, or someone who helps a student qualify for the loan. The loan is interest-free during the course of study; upon graduation an interest equal to average prime rate of 3 local banks is applied). Payment begins upon graduation or upon securing employment, whichever is earlier. The minimum payment amount is €100 per month. Maximum payment period from the day the loan is issued is 10 years.

Some banks offer low-interest student loans with advantageous repayment terms. Interested applicants should check with their local branch.

An affordable quarterly or monthly Fee Payment Plan can be arranged that sets the student’s monthly, or quarterly payment at an affordable for the student level (e.g. €150-350 per month depending on the programme and the student’s ability to pay). In the case of unemployed students the monthly payment will be adjusted upward, as deemed affordable by the student (and vice-versa for employed students in case of job loss).

Awards for Outstanding Performance

A student who completes a year of study with a GPA of 90+ receives an award equal to 25% of the year’s tuition fee. This award does not apply to students with a scholarship since outstanding performance is a condition for holding the scholarship. Since the Award of Outstanding Performance is determined and awarded upon graduation, students must settle all their tuition payments in due time, including their last instalment which will be returned to them if they earn the Award of Outstanding Performance at the end of each year of study.

State Subsidy

Students in the CIIM BBA, like all accredited programmes, are eligible for state subsidy between €2, 175 and €3,847 provided they meet the required by law income and family-size criteria, unless they have already received the state subsidy for another undergraduate or another postgraduate degree. Students that would, otherwise, qualify for a state subsidy based on income and family-size criteria, but cannot access it because they have already received it for a previous degree, are granted a discount equal to 50% of the state subsidy they would have been be entitled to if they hadn’t receive it for another degree.
