English has become the dominant language of business and commerce. As you are aware, it is used in more than 80% of the world’s business transactions, trade and finance. Yet, a good number of employees in Cyprus do not feel comfortable speaking English, or using it in their work, despite having studied English at school. This limits their productivity and effectiveness and results in many missed opportunities for both them and their employees.
To enable people to speak English with confidence and to use it effectively in their work, CIIM, the leading business school in Cyprus, has carefully designed a two-level programme in English and Professional English:
- Foundation English
- Intermediate Professional English
All two course levels take place in Nicosia, and each level is a total of 100 hours teaching consisting of 33, three-hour classes. A convenient evening schedule makes it possible for employees to attend without any disruption from their work. The upcoming English courses will start on Monday, September 26th, 2011 at 6.30 pm. Each level will be taught twice a week, from 6.30-9.30 pm. Courses are expected to finish end of January 2012 (exact date to be announced at a later stage).
The English Placement Test will take place on Tuesday 19 September 2011. The exact days on which each level will be taught, will be decided between the group of participants and the instructor, during the Orientation Class which will take place on Friday 23rd September 2011 at 6.30 pm.
The fees for each course are only € 1,100 and include all reading materials. All bookings received before 15th July 2011 benefit from a 10% “early bird” discount on the course fees. (Total payable for early bookings is €990).
The courses are taught by specialist and highly experienced English language tutors using tried and tested learning and teaching methods. Class sizes are limited to maximize the personal attention each individual student receives from the tutor.
